Family business owners need to prepare their family and their business for generational transitions. In this workshop, participants will assess the succession preparedness in their family business and dive into some useful practices, critical questions, and common pitfalls. The outcome is raised awareness of different options and versions of succession to inspire further action and informed choices. The target group is members of business families including both current and future owners, managers and non-active family members.
Dr. Kajsa Haag is Associate Professor at Jönköping International Business School, Sweden and member of Europe’s leading center for family business research, Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO). She is an expert on family business development through intra-family successions. Her research is published in several books and journal articles, and she frequently co-creates knowledge with business owners at seminars and workshops.
