We are delighted to announce this year’s Post-Conference Tour to Oudimension in Trat, Thailand, will take place from 24th-25th October.

Oud & Agarwood Oil

Oud, also known as agarwood, is one of the world’s most prized natural fragrance materials. It is produced when certain species of Aquilaria trees respond to injury or infection by forming a dark, resin-rich heartwood known as agarwood. Distillation of this resinous wood produces oud oil, a highly concentrated and complex fragrance valued for its rich, warm, woody, smoky, balsamic, and sometimes sweet character. Oud has a long history of use in Middle Eastern and Asian perfumery, incense, and traditional cultural practices, and its rarity and lengthy formation process have made it one of the most valuable natural raw materials in the fragrance industry.

Oudimension is a Thailand-based, family-owned supplier of premium Oud oil and handcrafted agarwood products, with more than 40 years of experience in the industry. The company combines traditional craftsmanship with innovative distillation technology to produce oud oil, agarwood chips, powder, incense tablets, incense sticks, and other products. Its operations in Trat, Thailand, are supported by a plantation located in a region well suited to the cultivation of Aquilaria trees.
