Membership of IFEAT is open to companies from all parts of the world dealing in essential oils and aroma trades

 

To apply as a member you will need to:

  1. Read the IFEAT Membership Policy
  2. Supply company information
  3. Submit the details of two IFEAT members as referees

Your application will then be considered for approval by the IFEAT Committees.

Ordinary Membership

Ordinary Membership is for those companies who are directly involved in the Essential Oils and Aroma Industry and will receive all membership benefits, including the right to vote at IFEAT’s Annual AGM.

For £500 per annum you will receive the below Membership Benefits:

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is for those companies who are indirectly involved in the Essential Oils and Aroma Industry and will receive all membership benefits, excluding the right to vote at IFEAT’s Annual AGM.

Ordinary Membership + Subsidiaries Add-on (Global)

Do you have subsidiary companies as part of your group?

If yes, you can apply for Ordinary Membership + Subsidiaries (Global) for £800 per annum and will receive the below Membership Benefits:

 

  • Pass on your membership benefits to your Subsidiaries
  • Access to the online IFEAT Members’ Directory
  • Recognition within the F&F industry as an IFEAT Member
  • Voting rights at the AGM
  • Access to the Members’ only Internet Chatroom
  • Use of the IFEAT Conciliation Service
  • Priority online booking for the Annual Conference

IFEAT Membership is continuous and runs from January to December, with renewals due on 1st January each year.

There is no pro-rata fee for new members who join part of the way through the year.

Members are required to:

a. Agree to the IFEAT Members Code of Conduct and follow its responsibilities

b. Have read and understand the current IFEAT Articles of Association

c. Abide by the provisions of IFEAT Articles of Association, as may be amended and updated from time to time

If your company wishes to resign from membership for the following year then we require you to submit the request in writing to membership@ifeat.org prior to 31st December (only applicable to members who have paid the subscription fee for the current year).

If your membership subscription payment is not received by 30th November, you request to resign after the 31st December deadline or forget to resign by writing by no later than 31st December then you will be accountable for the subscription fee of that year when you reapply for membership at any point in the future.

*  Member discount on Conference registration is only available to member companies who are fully paid up members at the time of registering.  No refund on the difference between non-member and member registration fees is available to members who join IFEAT membership after they have registered for the Conference. Conference registration is subject to availability and not guaranteed.

**  Participation is only available to member companies who are fully paid up members at the time of registering.

Read Peter Greenhalgh’s “History of IFEAT” series. The full version in a book was given as a gift at the Athens Fortieth Anniversary Conference 2017. Each of these articles has been included in recent issues of IFEATWORLD.
