Introducing the IFEAT Academy
IFEAT has officially integrated the International Centre for Aroma Trade Studies (ICATS) into its new flagship educational brand: the IFEAT Academy.
Following IFEAT’s acquisition of ICATS in early 2023, this relaunch marks a significant step in the digital and academic overhaul of our education programme. IFEAT Academy now serves as the centralised home for IFEAT’s industry-standard professional development.

New Digital Learning Platform
IFEAT Academy courses operate through a bespoke, asynchronous remote learning platform. This allows professionals to study from any location without the need for live attendance or formal exams. All units are assignment-based, focusing on practical industry application. The courses are open to both IFEAT Members and non-Members globally.
There are numerous different routes that students can take – from the Full Diploma to the Flavourist or Fragrance bundles. Or for those who wish to focus on a specific unit, all of the individual units can be taken independently!

IFEAT Academy has modernised the original coursework initially developed by industry legends Dr. Tony Curtis and David Williams. The curriculum now bridges the gap between traditional fragrance/flavourist skills and modern regulatory/technical demands.
