About the IFEAT Academy
The IFEAT Academy is the professional education platform of the International Federation of Essential Oils and Aroma Trades (IFEAT).
Formerly known as ICATS, the programme has been integrated into IFEAT Education, strengthening IFEAT’s commitment to high-quality professional learning across the global aroma trades.
For more than 30 years, the programme has supported professionals working in the essential oils, flavour, and fragrance industries through flexible, specialist education. Originally founded by industry expert Dr Tony Curtis, the Academy continues to provide rigorous training designed specifically for the needs of the sector.
Courses are written by industry and academic experts and delivered through a bespoke online learning platform, allowing students to study remotely alongside their professional roles. Learning is assignment-based with no formal exams and leads to the IFEAT Diploma or Certificate.
The IFEAT Academy supports continuing professional development in the aroma trades, helping professionals build the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a global industry.
